Josep R. Fontana
Josep R. Fontana is a doctor in Architecture with previous experience in the practical aspects of the profession (project and execution) as well as teaching experience. He has conducted research on construction at ITeC since 1990 in two different fields: quality and certification of building products; and market research of the construction sector. He is currently focused on the latter as Head of the Construction Market Intelligence Unit at ITeC, tracking the economic evolution of the Spanish construction sector as a whole, combined with deeper analysis on the markets for building components such as HVAC, roofs or facades.
Agnieszka Jachowicz
Property Fund Managing Director at two ARKA BZ WBK Property Market Funds, MRICS, Polish licensed valuer and broker, 14 years experience in Polish property market. Originally qualified as civil engineer, technical university in Warsaw. Joined BZ WBK AIB TFI in February 2004. Arka Property Market Fund has successfully invested its equity and is now holding a portfolio of fifteen commercial properties and four residential developments. The second Arka Fund was launched in 2008 and is currently investing in a new property portfolio. Formerly Agnieszka was Investment and Professional Services Director at DTZ Zadelhoff Tie Leung in Poland (8 years). Worked in the past as a letting agent, an investment agent and a valuer. Carried out large portfolio valuations of office buildings and shopping centres. In 2002-2004 concluded 3 investment transactions with a total investment value of approximately EUR 80,000,000. Member of Polish property valuers and brokers professional organisations.
Jacek Łaszek
Jacek Łaszek is a housing finance and real estate economist with domestic and international experience. In 1990 - 92, as an advisor of deputy premier L. Balcerowicz he worked on transformation of polish housing finance system. From 1994, as a Project Manager of the Housing Finance Project of the Polish Government and the World Bank, he has worked with developers and banks in the Polish housing sector. In 1996-98 worked as a consultant for domestic and foreign institutions and has conducted studies on the housing finance systems in Poland and in other countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Since 1998 he worked for ING Group in Poland as an advisor (mortgage department, savings and loan and mortgage bank). Since 2001 became an advisor to the president of the polish central bank and since 2007 advisor, head of the real estate unit. Jacek Łaszek is a professor at the Warsaw School of Economy.

Career History:
Joined Edward Erdman in September 1989, qualified as a chartered surveyor in March 1991 remained with the firm until January 2001 during the period when the firm merged with Clive Lewis&Partners and then was acquired by the Conrad Ritblat Group PLC. Appointed as an Associate Director in June 1996.
Joined DTZ Zadelhoff Tie Leung in February 2001 as Head of Valuation in the Polish office, based in Warsaw. Valued properties throughout Poland, specialising in shopping centre portfolios. In June 2001 was appointed as investment contact person within DTZ Central&Eastern Europe (C&EE) and was appointed Director in July 2003. Appointed as Director in charge of the Investment and Professional Services Department in January 2004, dealing with the sale of a three property portfolio in Warsaw.
In April 2004, transferred to the headquarters office of DTZ, based in Budapest, to assume the role of Regional Director of Valuations responsible for coordinating regional (C&EE) valuations and valuing properties in locations without a DTZ office, such as Bulgaria, Croatia and the Baltic States, as well as Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary. Alsoworked with the investment team in undertaking investment due diligence across C&EE. Robert’s major clients in C&EE included Europolis, Eurohypo AG, Plaza Centers, HeitmanInternational, GE Capital Golub, Ghelamco, AEW IXIS, Immorent and Cefic Polska.
Re-joined Colliers CRE in May 2005 as Director within the International Valuation team with respons ibility for developing the team’s international valuation business. Valuations to date include portfolios in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Robert is a Director and heads the Valuation&Strategic Consulting team in Russia and CIS and has been based in Moscow since December 2006. Being a driving force behind real estate valuations, he plays an integral role in the advisory group which comprises of 56 people in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Current clients include Raven Russia, AFI Development PLC, Carrefour, OPIN and Ivanhoe Cambridge.
Robert is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and serves onits Russ ian and European boards.
